We are proud and excited to announce our new partnership with the Flat Iron Fund.

Flat Iron Steak founder and CEO, Charlie Carroll and his wife Sophie created the Flat Iron Fund to help distribute the money raised through the restaurants voluntary donations. A small optional donation of 10p is added onto guests’ bills and Flat Iron contributes as well, by adding an extra 30p from its own profits. Over the years, the company has raised over £1 million for charities.

Bread and Water for Africa UK is honoured to have been chosen as the Flat Iron Fund's lead charity this year, to help support of projects fighting child malnutrition and hunger in Africa, such as our Kids Kitchen & Garden project in Sierra Leone or our Porridge school feeding programme in Burundi.

We are very much looking forward to this collaboration.
