Take on the TrekFest challenge to support children in African and their families – choose your distance and make every step count!

With 25km and 50km routes to choose from, whether you walk, jog, or even run you’ll be challenging yourself in one of the UK’s most beautiful national parks – the Brecon Beacons, South Wales. Full of incredible scenery, rolling countryside and impressive mountains, the Brecon Beacons National Park is also an SAS training ground – expect stunning yet challenging terrain! Sign up solo or as a team with friends, family or colleagues – the team spirit will be flying high, so join us for our ultimate UK trek in 2020!

Last time the Bread and Water for Africa UK team participated in the Cycle Challenge in Tanzania, it raised an outstanding £36,000. This year, help us raise more vital funds for children in Africa by trekking across some of Britain’s toughest but most beautiful terrain.

Why not give it a try? There are two different treks to choose from: either 25 or 50 kilometres. Although you may find it tough going, both physically and mentally, you’ll have a tremendous sense of achievement once you cross the finishing line and forget the aches and tiredness as you share your experiences with fellow trekkers over an evening drink.

You’ll also know that you have raised hundreds of pounds to help the children in Africa, who Bread and Water for Africa UK are supporting with education, food and healthcare. We promise you it’ll be an experience you’ll always remember: You’ll meet other fellow trekkers, who share similar beliefs to you, have shown what your body can do, and supported a great cause!
