Who we are

Since 2004, Bread and Water for Africa UK has been fighting poverty, relieving hunger and increasing access to healthcare and education in some of the world’s poorest countries. By working with local grass-roots organisations we have helped to fund schools, lifesaving health clinics and loving homes for abandoned and orphaned children.

We focus on long-term projects rather than temporary relief efforts, so we can give African communities a hand up, not a handout. In this way, these sustainable projects can continue to help future generations.

Our programme partners are our heroes. They are the ones doing all the hard work, sometimes in the most difficult circumstances. And it is only thanks to our amazing supporters here in the UK and around the world that we are able to help them.

Come and join our team. You will change lives forever - starting with your own!

Mission

Our mission is to create better access to education, nutrition and healthcare for some of Africa's most vulnerable children and their communities.

Values

Our values are humility, solidarity, compassion, partnership and respect. We are immensely proud of our partners who are all doing amazing work, providing vital services to their communities. We couldn't do anything without our incredible supporters and we strive to do our best to be worthy of their trust.
